EyeShield Account Deletion
Request deletion of your EyeShield account and associated sign-in data.
Delete account in the app (recommended)
- Open EyeShield.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
This removes your EyeShield sign-in from our servers (Firebase Authentication and your linked Google sign-in for this app).
Delete account by email request
If you cannot access the app, email privacy@vistalytix.com with subject line EyeShield account deletion request.
Please include the Google account email used to sign in to EyeShield.
What data is removed
- Deleted from server-side account systems: your Firebase Authentication account for EyeShield.
- Deleted for app sign-in access: the linked Google sign-in association used by EyeShield.
What data stays on your device unless you remove it
- Local wellness settings (thresholds, alerts, preferences).
- Local analytics history shown in the app (distance/blink summaries).
To remove local device data, uninstall EyeShield or clear app storage in Android Settings.
Additional retention notes
Historical crash diagnostics already stored in Firebase Crashlytics may be retained according to Google’s retention policies.
